What is so great about need that makes it need? It is impossible to say sometimes which one needs the other more, the addict or the addiction, or which needed the other first.
We are such specialists. When four people sail a boat, each one treats their own aspect of it as the single most important.
How deeply do you internalize what you do? Do you making yourself into what you do, or does what you do emerge from what you are? Are you self-similar at all scales?
I hear so often from people who do not leave convoluted relationships. They have spun so much into them they can’t imagine letting it all go.
It would be a little awesome if the lens of a webcam looked exactly like the eyeball of the person watching. Of course, for all you know, many people might be watching. Or it might be a disembodied computer intelligence.
The parasite of course sees itself as indispensable. Have you ever encountered someone with that kind of view of their dynamic with you?
