Right now, are you drawn to the mystery of anything, or of anyone in particular? How do you balance wanting to know with wanting to wonder?
Is there any place you need to get away from? Any state of mind or condition? Do you have a friend who is in a rut?
To whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever: whoever has seen the Earth from beyond Saturn, a pixel on a digital print. And even there the distant stars seem exactly just as distant.
What can last forever, waiting: geometry, the edge of the universe, making shapes out of shapes. Wave forms written over eternity. What do you think of the idea that some of the objects you see in the night sky ceased to exist long ago? Their light is still streaming out like a ghost.
If you could send a signal and it would keep transmitting forever, what would you send? Would its content even matter? Small changes change meaning a lot.
They look so free up there, attached to their string. Have you ever met someone who seemed so free, but, on getting to know him or her, was tightly attached?
Getting ready to go out is as mental as it is physical. Do you have any rituals or routines you undertake before a night on the town?
The dramatic is in everything you see it in. Have you ever turned something you know well into something adventurous, whether in a story or just in your own mind?
