Late Late

I decided to try something different today. I’ve been playing with pastels, and my wind-up clock, which has been showing the same time for the past two years, was willing to sign a model release.

Thanks! I’ll need to figure out how to get the edges to fade to completely white, and how to light up the physical paper for photos. But a start, anyway.

I love it. A stopped clock is exactly right sometimes, which is more than can be said for most clocks. And any time can be late, depending on what you’re trying to arrive at on time.

Pastel is the next best thing to charcoal, in my opinion. Sometimes it’s the other way around. Neither one is the greatest idea over carpets, though >>

‘Repent Harlequin!’

‘Get stuffed!’

If you’re not familiar with the Harlequin and the Master Timekeeper, you need to read more Harlan Ellison…

I love it! Too me it feels like trying to find an escape from the artificial time our lives revolve around.
