The Snail Batton

I thought I would try something different today with the text position. Is there any music that does something to you that you cannot put into words? I am always looking for music like that.

There is. Some music depresses me, some makes me dance uncontrollably, and so on with effects. I guess I’m easily affected by audio.

A lot of post-rock music. There’s nothing else that moves me in quite the same way. Try listening to The American Dollar, specifically their album “The Technicolor Sleep”.

Handlebars by Flobots (music video version is best, that one change in pronounciation of holocaust seems to completely change the mood of the song)
The Girl With Golden Eyes by (Sixx AM?)
Passacaglia from the White Stones CD
While Your Lips Are Still Red by Nightwish
Can’t really describe it, I just really enjoy those songs, always feel inspired after hearing them.

Not any one song… The entire Dr Demento show!

There are specific songs as well, like Wall of Voodoo’s ‘Far Side of Crazy’ or Nazareth’s ‘Silver Dollar Forger’ or Zara Leander singing ‘Lili Marleine’…

Sigur Ros, Untitled Number 4… It’s one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever heard in my life, it makes you feel everything that’s good in the world all at once…
