Such a small thing would not be missed, after all - there's thousands upon thousands of others. They're all so similar anyway. Even so, each one is completely unique, its own entity. I would fashion it into a pendant, the better to keep it near at all times. A guiding light, the focus of countless hopes and dreams through the ages. Do I really have a right to such an object? Probably not - yet I hope to be given a glimpse of those dreams bestowed upon it, and allow me to store mine deep inside. Where no one, save me, could see. I would pluck a star – just one,
