I see it as clouds, not birds. maybe thats just cause I like clouds. .

I think at some point in our lives we have all been victims of both installments of this picture.

I know I have.

Sometimes the only reason you leave is because you think no one needs you.

My mother might be thinking this right now. But honestly I left for other reasons, too.

I guess not.

I usually explain before leaving and I usually ask before or after "being left".

If I was the one left and it was made clear that that the other wants to leave me, I wouldn't consciously (willfully) wait.

By default, the premise is the other left because he WANTS to leave, so why wait?

I am a straight-talker so i expect the same from the people I deal with. If the other says he wants to leave, I take it as a decision he has already mulled over.

Now if he wants to come back, the premise is: if he is capable of contemplating leaving, then he'll be capable of contemplating going back. I do not need to help him on that aspect.

If at some point he decides to come back, so be it. I am as free to decide as he is when that time comes.

The heart and the brain are there for a reason. I can always listen to both and process what they are telling me at the exact time the one who left has decided to come back.

Now, if I was the one who left and I feel like I need to go back, I'll initiate. However, if after initiating, I am no longer welcome, then I believe I have to respect his choice. That is what he is saying so the premise is, that
is his choice.

If at some point he wants me back, then he can just say so (given the premise that i've already initiated). He is free to express himself as I also have been.

We can both take it from there after.
