I disagree. While halitosis is more than unpleasant, kissing artificial chemical flavours is no source of joy to me.

An interesting fact – Brushing one’s teeth is a very good illusion of having showered, even after three days in the desert, one hour’s sleep each night, huge temperature swings, rigorous workout every day…

two much-needed, freshly picked daffodils in my hand around his neck, wrapped around and leaning on his cheek, our breaths sharing the scent and our mouths sharing a smile.

okay, not in his mouth. for the mouth flavor, I also vote for spearmint. It’s comforting–my grandmother is a smoker and I remember going to her house when I was small and she had this little red jar with gum in it, so she and I would always share spearmint.

While I don’t grade toothpaste (or other oral therapy) by how it tastes in a lover’s mouth while kissing, I can certify that being drunk should be considered a gas warfare event. Kurt Vonnegut’s ‘mustard gas and roses’ breath is immortal with every drunk’s kiss!

Other than that I’m just appreciative of a clean mouth and minimum or no tobacco taste. My weak sense of taste and smell precludes my thoughts of other than such extremes.

I’m weird. I lust after garlic breath, and to my knowledge they don’t make a toothpaste for that.
