A Frog Waving

Transcriptorial: In those final days we learned / how to warn our friends / but not how to save them.

In the days before we learned how to save them, but great smelling hair and smooth skin was so much more important.

It should, but even when many of us disappear we may not take the hint.

It’s weird how we have this great ability as a species to imagine the future, and an equally great ability to put the future out of our minds.

an inability to put the future (or possible futures) out of your mind leads to either suicidal depression or paralysis, depending.
