Skull Pond

What can make a person belong to a place so much it seems to speak with their voice?

Transcriptorial: She sank it into the pond / so it would speak to her in ripples.

Nice. Very medieval in imagery. Very poetic.

I think it is possible to become so attached to a place that it can speak with your voice. A person can put so much of themselves into something that it becomes as one with them.

I believe the answer lies in synergies.

Some places echo the personality of those who stay there. And some people echo the personality of the places they live. When a synergistic link is created, so that the person matches the environ, any experience you have with the person will naturally synonymise with the place.

And that place will always be theirs, for you.
