To whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever: whoever has seen the Earth from beyond Saturn, a pixel on a digital print. And even there the distant stars seem exactly just as distant.

How to deal with choice? You might know the right choice. You might know the wrong choice won’t matter. Otherwise, why choose?
There is a type of writer who cares less about writing than about being a writer. There is a type of writing that comes from a machine where all the characters and plots are etched onto its keys.
Some of the most beautiful flowers live in the darkest jungles. Some of the most beautiful fish live in the deepest ocean trenches. Some of the most beautiful people are at their most beautiful in the dark.
What is so great about need that makes it need? It is impossible to say sometimes which one needs the other more, the addict or the addiction, or which needed the other first.
Does a fence exist to keep them out, to keep you in, or to control all the comings and goings through one gate? How would you approach a person who opened to you in so many ways at once?
Even if you could replay your memory exactly, it would never be like being there again, you could never bring someone back from then to now. And if you could, perhaps that would be a lonely world in the first place, a world where we really are all just in one another’s minds.
Have you ever wanted to throw away the things for which you are the most grateful? Have you wanted to be unloved, unpopular, and anonymously, utterly free?
