Grave Markers

Our shadows, at least, need not stop moving. In the graveyard, they cycle around and around their long-still sources; never have they been closer to freedom.

Transcriptorial: They all reduce to numbers / their shadows twisting to go free.

The guy with the easel and palette nearby is named Richard Upton Pickman. See good descriptions of his art in the literature of Howard Phillips Lovecraft.
