The Sky Changes

One year, you are perfectly comfortable in a crowd, on a train, swimming in the ocean, walking under an open sky. One scar later, everything about crowds, trains, oceans, or skies is forever changed.

Transcriptorial: The scar was years old / but still the chihuahua glanced skyward / every few seconds, / he seized up when clouds crossed the sun.

This is my favorite piece so far. There is so much truth to everything you just stated… Thank you, this somehow gave me a bit of closure.

One scar later, everything changes; one year later, everything reverts. We inevitably forget what the pain felt like. The scars on my hands can’t stop me from going into the water. They lost that power years ago.

your fear loves you
but do you love him?
oh poor desperate soul
to do such a thing.

Things will always be different after the thing that scarred you. You will always be a little less innocent, a little less naive, and maybe a little more careful, but you can’t let the fear of what scarred you keep you from living.

I agree,
My heart beats loud
This poem can relate to my life in so many different angles and ways.

my best friend was suicidal. She put her life on the line, and this comic shows me that her decision was wronged. The blood that spilled from her wound will be a rememberence of my final words: I miss you.

It’s in times like these that I cherish my family and friends.

I just hope that one day, someday, any day…i will fall, and catch myself breathing.

Thank you for listening,
Ornoco 3
