Things work this way: when four people sail a boat, each one treats their own aspect of it as the single most important.

Been there, done that. 150 people and 16 ICBMs on a nuclear missile submarine in the 80s, finishing off the Cold War. My thanks go to my fellow Strangeloves on both sides for not touching off Fimbul.
