How deeply do you internalize what you do? Do you making yourself into what you do, or does what you do emerge from what you are? Are you self-similar at all scales?
At times it seems like what I do is trying to consume me. Eventually things change as they always do and I can be happy to do the things I like again. A lot of it is a matter of deciding what I feel is important to me. I can’t do everything so I must pick and choose what I feel is right for me.
I believe what I do grows from who I am as a person. Many are the times when I have refused to change who I am to enable myself to do something others want to do.
I have not regretted the decions I have made when pur into this situation as of yet.
I think that the things people do reflect who they are. Their beliefs, their values, the experiences, their wants, their needs, their fears, their likes and dislikes, as well as their strengths and weakness constitute who they are. Their actions are then influenced by all of those things, thus what they do emerges from who they are.
