The Last of the Fuel

When the power goes out it gets so quiet and so pleasant. Maybe someday the power will go out forever. Will you dare to eat a peach? I know I will.

Transcriptorial: I ate a peach and watched its last steam / evaporate. Delicious peach.

‘Rainforests burn, wheels of progress turn.
We scrape the bottom of the barrel, Brand Old!
Red tide, stripmines, soon you will find
When there’s no more, all will be Brand Old!’
(ZAKAS)

I have to agree with you henrebotha. I used to live int Tanzania and the power would go out just before I could save an important document.

I live in a place that suffers from a lot of thunderstorms and extreme weather. Needless to say the power goes out often. And because there is not much you can really do with the power out I found it’s really relaxing to just sit and listen to the storm. It’s one of the best times to write, draw, or get in really good naps.
