A kite without a string floats away entirely, has no control.

Imagine what we'd do if we had no boundaries, no morals... that's a scary thought and I think a lot of people would be unhappy. There's also a certain satisfaction in abstaining from something you shouldn't do.

Without boundaries, there is no freedom.
How free is a kite without a string? As I recall, it doesn't get very far...
Give me "strings-attached" anytime. Those strings are life-giving.

The strings that bind us also allow us to experience what we live.

Without our bindings we would be free and yet cease to be.

We're all confined somehow. Some strings are just more visible than most. It's a matter of noticing and then either accepting them or doing something about them.
